On the 27th of August, 1664, the Dutch Colony of New Netherland was surrendered to a certain Sir Edmond Andrus. The King, Charles II., had already granted it, by patent dated 12 March, 1664, to his brother, the Duke of  “New” York.

After the Civil War in America, Andrus black royalty in the South went in exile, because they were envied like many, for being original free black Creoles, and part of European Royalty, starting with Jesse Andrus (1863), and my g-g-grandfather Civil War veteran Benjamin T. Andrus (1887), ending with Jesse Ben Andrus (2002). They thought Benjamin (LT?) died in 1887, but he really died in 1921 in Sunset, Louisiana. This information had to be suppressed for as long as possible. They probably lived around the intersection of Irene and Edward street (Grand Coteau), not far from Saint Charles Borromeo cemetery.

Know all men by these presents, that Solomon Andrus of the State of Louisiana and Parish of St. Landry, acknowledges himself justly indebted to his father Joseph Andrus in the sum of three thousand five hundred dollars...

After a “Civil War” they called it Re-construction. Re-creating a black Creole family’s past for us, without consultation or involvement. 1867. If the Andrus whites had sided with, or told what happened to the black Creole, they could have lost their businesses, many customers, and best friends. 

What happen to Jesse T., Clinton B., and Benjamin T. Andrus, black royalty, and how did they lose their land and estates so fast? 

Ordained the 3rd day of July, (1865)

Sect. 1. Be it therefore ordained by the Board of Police of the Town of Opelousas: that no Negro (black Creole) or freedman shall be allowed to come within the limits of the Town of Opelousas without special permission from his employer specifying the object of his visit and the time necessary for the accomplishment of the same. Whoever shall violate this provision shall suffer imprisonment and two days' work on the public streets, or shall pay a fine of two dollars and fifty cents.

Civil War hero Clinton .B. Andrus had to hire a white person to run his store in St. Landry, because blacks were barred from town, and there where many Supreme Court cases involving this same family. The Civil War and the Opelousas, St Landry Massacre of Sep., 1868 tore the Andrus family apart. Back then, their was no hope in the form of cell phones, internet, or emails, to alert any U.S. government officials, Nobility or "Queen Mother”, concerning these matters of antiquity.

To be honest, besides racial, this event was a "political" battle of war veterans right to vote, started because a "white" friend of the blacks, Emerson Bentley from Ohio had disappeared. They didn't know he went back North.

What we've suffered in Los Angeles, losing loved ones, like my young cousins Darryl Andrus, Andre Andrus, Cornelius Leonard Andrus Coleman, Half brother Jamal Davidson, little (half) brother Darrin Layton Andrus (innocent prisoner "Alessandro Medici" case), and my father Layton (Boot) Andrus is a lot of pain for one family. Ronald Andrus Coleman was shot 14 times, and he is alive to tell me today, about his new life as a "great" person to know (50 cent). There are a few Andrus girls left, with no one to carry the Andrus name, which makes me feel, that it could be designed that way one day if they don't know who they are. If we teach our kids to "honor thy father" , mother, and (elderly people), I know they will be blessed, and we will have a better world.

It means we were hidden away, after we were held back in the South (1908), and reduced to Jim Crow field workers and laborers, with no chance to attend schools of higher learning (College). To break a vicious cycle my grandfather fought in WWII, to free Europe, and eventually moved out of the South. It is an embarrassment to America, Europe, Alexandria, Egypt, and Israel.

If they could only confuse the family, half the battle would be won, as I would be stagnant for years, and with no defense, I would become a slave of the “system”.  

Once you remember who you are, and the great things you’ve done in the past, it makes you better than before. To not question God, and be patient, amidst much self hatred, I learned to put many hours into this research. Had I “lost” myself and this lineage, other parties would’ve been very satisfied, knowing the Andrus of Louisiana story would lay dormant for another 50 years or more. Being threaten by others for searching my history only made me more persistent, as I had nothing to lose, but my life, which was worth nothing without family. As long as the Andrews/Andrus/Andros children, adults, and associated families benefit from my story, I can rest in peace.

My family is scared and confused, even today.  2002 was my wakeup call, and that is when I went to work on the Benjamin Andrus story (in secrecy and exile), which turned into the CIA, European Royalty, and the Andros Empire internet history. WOW!

CB Andrus from Saratoga NY, John E.Andrus, his  nephew Hiram/Hyrum (son of Hamlin), Elisha, Solomon, Joseph, Jesse, David and Benjamin are a few examples of this families Connecticut connections.  

I worked at the Mohegan Sun Casino for years, starting with Opening Day. Norwich is outside the Mohegan reservation.

Many of the Andrus family  fought on the side of the Patriots in the War of Independence, to include a mulatto of dark complexion named Elisha Andrus. I have compiled their names, and there are many. Colonel Abel Andrus, Captain Issac , , Zebediah,  Frederick Andrus,  Rev. Thomas Andrus (POW), and many more.

Andrus hosted and participated with the original “Founding Fathers of America”, fighting in every war, and in service, since the beginning of America.  The Andrus House in Connecticut was a “Safe Haven”, and very important in the “History of America”. Andrus/Andrews was also here with the Pilgrims in Virginia (circa 1615), and this is Extraordinary!!
